Brush Engineering design an array of large generators and turbines, and this work can have a whole host of health implications. To assist with the health and safety of the company, Healthier Workforce performed a range of health surveillance services. The team at Brush Engineering then analysed the results so they could find methods of ensuring good working conditions.
Our services targeted areas crucial to employee health, including audiometry, spirometry and skin assessments. Engineers using machinery and tools every day are especially at risk of developing HAVS, so we also provided musculoskeletal assessments, data collection and reporting, to monitor this important part of the company’s health and safety. Brush Engineering could then monitor the results in order to promote a safe environment and improve the quality of their work.
